The temperatures are always a little lower here due to the influence of the ocean that burns the Peniche isthmus and especially the Berlengas.
There are indeed more tourists. Still, in any case, there is a limit to the number of people who enter the archipelago daily, so the situation is never really uncomfortable.
However, if you plan to spend the night in one of the hotels in Peniche, try to book your accommodation as soon as possible. The same applies to Berlengas and the boat crossing.
What is the best time to visit Berlengas?
June and September are pleasant months to travel in Portugal, and Peniche and Berlengas are no exception.

Also, there are fewer tourists, simplifying logistics and offering more privacy in busier places.
Is it possible to visit the Berlengas outside of the summer months?
The year’s remaining months can pose some difficulties, especially in the Berlengas.
